    The Stocker Foundation Awards Grants in Eight Communities Across the United States

    ELYRIA, OH (May 21, 2024) —The Stocker Foundation Board of Trustees approved 109 competitive grants totaling $1.52 million, supporting nonprofit organizations in eight communities across the United States. Grant awards aim to lessen the reading achievement gap for public school students, PreK through eighth grade, by building critical foundational reading and writing skills and/or by implementing cross-disciplinary and project-based learning through STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics).
